CHEESE CAKE | |
1 c. sugar 3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 1 pt. sour cream 5 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. lemon 1 pkg. graham cracker crumbs 9 inch round spring cake pan Put ingredients at room temperature for 1 hour. With a fork stir cream cheese until smooth. Blend in 1 cup sugar and vanilla and lemon. Add sour cream. Mix with fork until smooth. Separate eggs. Add yolks to mix and stir with fork. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in to mix. Mix graham cracker crumbs with 4 tablespoons of sugar and 4 ounce butter. Mix by hand until moist. Layer bottom and parts of side of pan with crumbs. Add cake mix, then sprinkle some crumbs to cover top of cake. 45 minutes at 325 degrees. 45 minutes with no heat in oven. 1 hour, keep in oven with door open. |
