BARBECUE STYLE POT ROAST 
1 (2 1/2 - 3 lb.) roast
2 tbsp. butter
2 med. onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 c. bottled bar-b-q sauce
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. chili powder

Brown meat in butter. Remove meat; add onions and garlic. Cook until tender, but not brown. Stir in bar-b-q sauce, mushrooms, mustard, chili powder and 1/2 cup water. Add meat. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover; simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Remove meat; boil juices gently. Uncover for 3 to 5 minutes or to desired consistency, stirring often.
