TURKEY CHILI 
1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lg. can tomato juice (46 oz.)
1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1-2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1 lg. bay leaf
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans (optional)

Option: Can use chili seasoning mix instead of chili powder, salt, bay leaf, and pepper.

Cook onion and green pepper in small amount of oil. Add crumbled ground turkey and brown in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Add tomato juice, tomatoes, bean liquid, and spices. Cover and cook gently 1 hour. Add kidney beans; heat through. Thicken with small amount of flour, if desired.
