ENGLISH YAM BAKE 
1 (29 oz.) can yams, drain
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped apples
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drain
1/4 c. melted butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. brandy or apple cider
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Miniature marshmallows
2 to 3 tbsp. brown sugar

Mash yams with fork. Add next 8 ingredients and blend well. Spoon into buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle top with brown sugar and marshmallows. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
