MARIE'S CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 stick butter, room temperature
1 cup white sugar
4 eggs
1 large can Hershey's syrup
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar with electric mixer until white. Beat in eggs and add can of Hershey's syrup. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together and add slowly to syrup mixture. Add vanilla and pour into a 10 x 7 x 2 inch greased and floured pan.

Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes.

Top with Chocolate Icing.
