GLORIFIED RICE 
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1 c. quick-cooking rice
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. diced marshmallows
3/4 tsp. salt
6 maraschino cherries
1 tbsp. sugar

Drain pineapple measuring syrup into large saucepan. Add enough water to equal 1 1/4 cups. Bring to a boil; stir in rice and salt. Cover; remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Add cherries and pineapple; chill. Combine cream and sugar; whip. Fold whipped cream and marshmallows into rice. Serve.
