SAUSAGE & EGG COMBO | |
8 slices white bread, crusts removed 2/3 lb. Cheddar, grated 7 eggs 1 tsp. salt 2 1/2 c. milk 3/4 tsp. dry mustard 1 can cream mushroom soup 2 lb. pork sausage, browned & drained (ground or link) Dice or tear bread; layer in bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch. Layer sausage (cooked) over bread. Layer grated cheese over sausage. Beat together eggs, milk, mustard and salt; pour over bread/sausage/cheese. (You can do this much and then refrigerate overnight, if desired.) Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and spread mushroom soup over top (do not add water to soup). Return to oven and bake 30 minutes longer. |
