RICE - GROUND BEEF DINNER | |
2 c. boiling water 2/3 c. uncooked rice 1 can chicken and rice soup or cream of chicken soup 1 sm. can mushrooms 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. celery salt 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. onion salt 1/4 tsp. paprika 3 tbsp. chopped onion 3 tbsp. salad oil 3/4 lb. lean ground beef Place rice in greased casserole. Add hot water, soup, mushrooms and seasonings. Saute onions until glossy. Add to casserole. Brown meat, add to casserole. Cook 2 hours at 325 degrees covered. Make at least one day ahead. Refrigerate overnight and cook when ready to serve. For party use wild rice and add a few pieces of cooked, cut-up chicken. |
