RICOTTA PIE 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tsp. whiskey

FILLING:

1 1/2 lb. Ricotta cheese
3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. maraschino cherries

Crust: Sift together the dry ingredients. Add butter, egg and whiskey. Roll to fill 10 inch pie plate.

Filling: Mix well the Ricotta cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips and cherries. Pour into shell. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake 1 hour longer.
