SWEET AND SOUR PORK 
2 lb. pork loin
1 tbsp. wine or sherry
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Oil for deep frying

Cut pork into small cubes and mix well with rest of ingredients (except oil). Fry pork in deep oil until crisp and brown. Turn out on a plate.

SAUTE IN OIL:

3 green peppers, quartered, seeded
1 round onion, sliced
1 carrot, cut into wedges and boiled for 8 minutes
4 slices pineapple, cut into pieces
5 tbsp. oil

MIX IN BOWL:

6 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. wine or sherry
1 tsp. cornstarch

Add to sauteed ingredients. When mixture boils up, add 1 tsp. cornstarch stirring constantly. Add fried pork and wine mix. Serve hot.
