EGG NOG | |
1 pt. heavy cream 8 eggs 1 c. sugar 2 qts. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Nutmeg 2 - 2 1/2 c. rum (optional) Separate eggs. Place yolks in one bowl and whites in another. Add 1 cup sugar to yolks and beat until smooth. Add 2 quarts of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat egg whites; fold into egg mixture. Beat 1 pint heavy cream and fold into mixture. Top with nutmeg. Add 2 to 2 1/2 cups rum, if desired. |
