BREAD PUDDING 
4 c. day old bread, cut into 1/2" cubes
2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Put cubed bread (homestyle or homemade is best) into shallow baking dish. Heat milk, sugar, raisins to boiling point. Take from heat and cool 5 minutes. Pour milk mixture over slightly beaten eggs. Mix well and pour over bread cubes. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over all. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. The pudding may be served plain or with milk. It is best eaten warm.
