MEXICAN CORN BREAD CASSEROLE | |
1 (No. 303) can cream style corn 1 c. cornmeal 1 egg 1/2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned 1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese, shredded or diced 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped (more or less as desired) 1 raw onion, chopped Mix first 6 ingredients for batter. Pour half into greased 9 inch pan. Sprinkle mixture of remaining ingredients on top, then cover with remainder of batter. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. |
