TURKEY SALAD | |
1 turkey breast (not roast) approximately 5 to 7 lbs. 1 pkg. HIDDEN VALLEY® Ranch Salad dressing (dry) 1 c. milk 1 c. mayonnaise 1 med. onion, chopped Lettuce leaves, optional Seasoned salt to taste Wash turkey breast and sprinkle with seasoned salt inside and out to your preference. Do not add liquid of any kind to crockpot! I recommend cooking turkey on low setting in crockpot for 6 hours. If turkey breast is frozen, it can be cooked overnight on low setting. Cool turkey breast. Prepare ranch dressing as directed on package. Chop onion very fine. Chop turkey into small pieces and combine with onion and dressing (package makes one pint). Chill salad 3 to 4 hours or overnight to allow blending of ingredients. Serve on lettuce lined platter. |
