CONGO BARS 
1 stick butter, melted
1 lb. brown sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time.

Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to egg mixture, then add vanilla. Mix with chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into 15 x 10 inch pan and bake 15 minutes at 375°F. Cut into bars and serve.
