CHICKEN & PORT ADOBO 
1 med. chicken, cut in serving pieces
1 lb. pork, cut in serving pieces
1 head garlic
10 peppercorns
2 tbsp. fat
1 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
Salt to taste
1 bay leaf
Soy sauce to taste

Combine in saucepan, the pork, chicken, vinegar, garlic, pepper, salt, soy sauce and water. Cover and cook over medium (moderate) temperature, until meat is tender.

Drain remaining sauce. Fry the meat and garlic until brown. Add the sauce and stir a little longer, until sauce thickens.
