SOURDOUGH BREAD
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. instant potatoes
2 pkg. Rapid Rise yeast
1 c. warm water

DOUGH:

6 c. bread flour
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar (optional)
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. warm water
All starter

Mix first 4 ingredients and let stand (un-refrigerated) for 1 hour. This makes your "starter".

To make dough: Mix 6 cups bread flour, 1 tablespoon salt, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup oil, 1 1/2 cup warm water and all starter. Knead dough (it will be sticky) and place ball of dough in greased bowl. Set in warm place to rise for 1 hour.

To make bread: Punch dough down and divide into 3 loaves. Put 3 parts of dough into 3 well-greased loaf pans. Let rise in warm place 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. (You may make rolls by pinching off pieces of dough.)
