BLACK MAGIC CHOCOLATE CAKE 
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
4 tbsp. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Melt chocolate with shortening, cool to warm and add sugar; mix well. Combine eggs and 1 cup milk; add to mixture and blend. Add salt and flour. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla to 1/2 cup milk, add to mixture. Dissolve soda in 1/4 cup milk and add quickly to mixture. Batter will be thin. Pour into bundt pan or 2 inch layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
