FAMILY SAMPLER BROWN SUGAR
MUFFINS
 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. packed light-brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter, at room temperature

Mix flour, baking soda, salt and sugar in medium-size bowl. In separate bowl beat egg, milk and butter. Add all at once to flour mixture; beat to mix well. Spoon into 12 greased or paper-lined 2 1/2-inch muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake in preheated oven 350 degree oven about 20 minutes or until browned. Makes 12.
