NO SUGAR MULTI-BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. buttermilk
1/8 c. vegetable oil
1 egg (2 egg whites, if watching cholesterol)
1 1/2 c. bran flakes
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. oat bran flour
1/2 c. broken walnuts
1/2 c. raisins (golden are best)
1/4 c. 'spreadable fruit' orange marmalade
1/4 c. frozen orange juice concentrate
1/4 c. frozen apple juice concentrate
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Purchase "no sugar" added products.

Mix all ingredients. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes if using miniature muffin cups, for 20 minutes if using standard size muffin cups. You may refrigerate batter up to 2 weeks if tightly covered. Bake slightly longer if batter has been refrigerated.

A healthy breakfast or snack muffin for those controlling refined sugar and who also want to add brans to their diet.
