HAWAIIAN PINEAPPLE NUT CAKE 
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. nuts
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. sweetened whipped cream

Drain crushed pineapple. Chop nuts. Beat eggs. Melt butter. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Pour melted butter in mixing bowl; add sugar, beating constantly. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Sift flour into batter, stirring until blended. Add pineapple and nuts. Mix well. Pour into greased 9" square pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Top with whipped cream. Double recipe for 9"x12" cake.
