GLOG 
6 oz. orange peel
1/4 oz. whole cardamom seed
3 tsp. whole cloves
3 whole nutmeg (cracked)
1 lb. raisins
5 cinnamon sticks
1/4 lb. almonds
3 c. sugar
3 qts. water
1 gallon port wine
1 qt. whiskey

Boil all ingredients (except liquor) for 20 minutes. Add the wine. Heat to boiling point. Add whiskey; bring to boiling point again keeping covered. Turn heat off. Burn off by lighting sugar that has been sprinkled on top.
