FRED'S CHILI 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. sausage
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 bell peppers, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can peeled tomatoes, with juice, chopped
1 can tomato paste
2 cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. paprika
2 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cans pinto beans, drained, add last hour
3 to 4 tbsp. cornmeal (yellow), add to chili last hour
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbsp. parsley
1/2 c. mild green chilies

Brown meat and sausage with large onion in skillet. Drain. Put meat mixture into crock pot with remaining ingredients and cook 8-10 hours on low. Add beans and cornmeal the last hour.
