GINGER CRACKLES 
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. ginger
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
1/4 c. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. shortening

Roll in ball and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet two inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
