GARLICKY BARBECUE SAUCE 
1 tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, pureed with liquid
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. wine vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1 lg. onion, minced
1/4 c. chopped parsley
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. pepper

Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add remaining ingredients and cook uncovered 45 minutes until thick. (For a smooth sauce; put in blender.) This sauce is good on chicken or beef.
