SWEDISH CLOGG 
2 bottles dry red wine
2 bottles port wine
2 c. Aquavit (gin may be substituted)
2 c. seedless raisins (regular or white)
2 c. blanched almonds
Slivered peel of 1 orange
1/2 tsp. cardamom seed (ground)
10 whole cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sugar

Mix in 6 quart enamel or stainless steel pan. Cover and let stand at least 8 hours. When ready to serve, stir well and heat.
