BLONDIES 
6 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 3/4 c. semi sweet chocolate chunks

Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla - beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt and add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate chunks. Spread into greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and cut into bars.
