CHOCOLATE CHUNK BLONDIES 
6 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed light
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 9 x 12 inch pan. In large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla, beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, stir in nuts and chocolate chunks. Spread in pan. bake 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool; cut in squares. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen.
