APRICOT NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
3 c. flour
3/4 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. soft butter
3/4 c. orange juice
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. dried apricots, chopped
1 egg
4 tsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg, milk, orange juice and peel and mix well. Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt and mix well. Blend in nuts and apricots. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 70 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 1 loaf.
