APRICOT NUT LOAF 
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 c. milk
3 c. sifted flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped dried apricots

Mix in order given. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees about 70 minutes or until done.
