CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. almond flavoring
16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. nuts

TOPPING:

3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. almond flavor
2 tsp. warm water

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time and beat. Add flavoring. Add dry ingredients alternating with sour cream. Put half of batter in tube pan; top with half the cranberries and nuts. Add balance of batter; then cranberries and top with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes; remove from pan. Mix together all topping ingredients and pour over cake.
