HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. of sugar
3/4 c. of packed light brown sugar
2 1/4 c. of all purpose flour
1 tsp. of baking soda
2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) of Hershey semisweet chocolate chips
1 c. of butter, softened
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. of salt
1 c. of chopped nuts, optional

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixer bowl, cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop round teaspoonfuls onto the cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until very light brown. Makes 6 dozen.

PAN RECIPE:

Spread batter into greased jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 to 10 1/2 x 1 inch. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. About 4 dozen bars.
