CHOCOLATE SCOTCH CRISPS | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle's Butterscotch morsels 1 c. smooth peanut butter 6 c. Rice Krispies Cereal 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips In double boiler, melt butterscotch morsels and peanut butter. Stir frequently until smooth. Transfer mixture to large bowl. Add Rice Krispies; mix well. Press 1/2 mixture into aluminum foil lined 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Chill in refrigerator about 1 hour. Melt chocolate chips. Spread over chilled mixture. Press other half of cereal mixture over chocolate. Chill again. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares. To prevent cracking, let stand at room temperature for a while before cutting. |
