ITALIAN MEATLOAF | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. pork sausage 1 16 oz. pkg. Italian seasoned bread crumbs 1 onion 4 cloves garlic, minced 4 tbsp. fresh parsley, minced 1/4 tsp. thyme 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper, to taste) 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 small can tomato paste 1/2 c. milk Mix ground beef and pork sausage in large bowl. Mince garlic and dice the onion. Add onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, 6 ounces Mozzarella cheese, salt and pepper to beef and pork mixture. In a separate bowl, add milk to bread crumbs to soften. Add Worcestershire sauce to bread crumb mixture and mix. Add this mixture to beef and pork mixture. Blend all ingredients and shape meatloaf in baking pan. Mix tomato paste and remaining Mozzarella cheese, and pour over top of meatloaf. Cover pan and bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for additional 10 to 15 minutes. |
