PORCUPINE BEEF BALLS 
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. flour
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Combine uncooked rice, ground beef, salt and 1/4 cup of canned tomatoes. Mix and form into 12 meatballs. Place in greased casserole. Melt butter in skillet and lightly brown green pepper and onion. Blend in flour and add remaining tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cook until thickened. Pour over meatballs. Bake in 3 quart covered casserole at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6.
