1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
3/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
Pepper

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat to blend together.

To use with chicken: First coat chicken with butter. Baste often.
