GREATEST CORN BREAD EVER 
10 strips bacon
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 pkg. corn bread mix
1 can cream style corn
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. baking powder

Fry bacon in heavy skillet. When crisp, remove from pan, drain off all but 1 tablespoon of grease. Beat eggs and buttermilk together. Add corn and bacon. Set skillet in oven set at 400 degrees. Let oven preheat. Pour corn bread mix in hot skillet. It is sizzling hot grease which makes the crusty brown crust. Bake 30 to 40 minutes. Any leftovers, broil in oven. Butter slices and toast.
