ALMOND ROLLS | |
1 lb. almond paste 3 beaten eggs 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. almond flavoring 1 lb. butter 4 c. flour 1 c. water Mix well and refrigerate overnight first 4 ingredients. Add butter, flour, and water and refrigerate overnight. Divide into 8. Roll crust 5-inches wide, put paste at edge and roll dough around twice. Prick top every inch or so with fork. Brush top with egg white. Bake approximately 1/2 hour or until brown. |
