GOBS OF CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter, melted and cooled
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
2/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour cookie sheets. With mixer beat sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gently mix in dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips; blend.

Place small mounds of dough on prepared cookie sheets. Bake until puffed and cracked, 12-14 minutes. Cool on racks.

This recipe is BEST fresh so I bake only what we will eat each day and refrigerate the remaining dough.
