GOBS 
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk + 1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Mix everything together. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes.

FILLING: Cook together until thick, then cool 5 tablespoons flour and 1 cup milk. Meanwhile, cream 1/2 cup Crisco, 1/2 cup butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup peanut butter (optional) and pinch of salt. Add this to paste. Ice gobs.
