GOBS 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
4 c. flour
1 c. sour milk
1 c. cold water

Beat until creamy; sugar, shortening and eggs. Add vanilla. Sift together salt, baking powder, soda, cocoa and flour. Alternate flour and liquid into sugar and shortening mixture. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

FILLING:

5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. or part butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil together flour, milk and salt. Beat powdered sugar, butter and vanilla. Add to boiled flour and milk and salt a little at a time with a mixer. Spread frosting between 2 Gobs and eat.
