Pork Chop Bake

I fry bacon, remove from skillet, sauté onions, add a can of tomato sauce, about 1/4 Karo syrup and 1/2 cup white vinegar. Pork chops are arranged on top of baked beans, pour this mixture over and bake at 325°F for 1 1/2 hrs. I boil medium size noodles, noodles on plate, baked beans over and chop to the side or the old way was spetzles

Terrific recipe! Had my left hand in a cast so prepared it with one hand. My wife loved it. So did I.

Loved it! Didn't need the sugar as the beans tasted quite sweet. Increased the mustard for more punch, and added in some ginger garlic paste for complexity.

Awesome recipe! Did not have a onion so I substituted a green pepper and used bacon bits on top of the pork chops. Also did not use the brown sugar you have in the recipe.
Chops were so moist and juicy. Oh so good will be making again in the near future!

This recipe is awesome and simple and easily scalable and adaptible. I did for 2 with 2 of the 8.5 sized cans, and added othe ingredients (i.e. German curry condiment (I think called Jaegersauce" auf Deutsch -- it's their version of ketchup) as well as the must. and the brn suger and it was awesome. I'm seeing other fruit toppings as well. The simplicity of the dish is wonderful for people on the run and it tastes great! THANK YOU Cooks.com -- my come-to place for ideas!
