BAKED BEANS EN CASSEROLE 
1 lg. can Campbell's pork & beans (about 1 1/2 qt.)
2 cans Luck's Great Northern beans (about 16 oz. per can)
3-4 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1-2 tbsp. molasses
3-4 med. tomatoes
1 lg. sweet green bell pepper
1 lg. sweet red bell pepper
1 white or yellow onion
2 ribs celery
1/2 tsp. each basil, parsley, thyme & savory (more, if fresh herbs) 3 tbsp. catsup
2 tbsp. chili sauce
1/4-1/2 c. water (enough to keep it from getting too dry)

Mix beans. Add molasses and sugar. (Also, a little honey and/or maple syrup, if desired.) Add catsup and chili sauce. Chop all vegetables to a fairly small size, and mix well with the beans. Add about 1/2 cup water and blend in.

Pour into a buttered 3 quart casserole dish. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 18-20.

Option: For a one dish meal, mix chili powder, to taste and 1 to 2 pounds extra lean ground beef into the above and cook as directed.
