1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
1 c. biscuit mix
1/4 c. water
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1 c. thick salsa
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Sour cream (optional)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix beans, biscuit mix and water together. Spread mixture in bottom of 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Layer in order: ground beef, salsa and cheese. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve with sour cream.
