MUSHROOM GRAVY (FOR CHRISTMAS
DINNER)
 
Knorr mushroom soup mix
12-16 oz. fresh mushrooms
2 crumbled dried mushrooms
Sprig fresh parsley
1/8 tsp. (or to taste) white pepper
2-3 tbsp. sweet cream

Mix soup mix according to package with water. Bring to a boil. Add cleaned and sliced fresh mushrooms (moonlight mushrooms from store are fine.) Also add dried mushroom, pepper to taste and simmer until thickened and mushrooms are cooked. Do not over cook. Put in refrigerator overnight. Next day for dinner warm gravy and add finely chopped parsley and the sweet cream. Do not over boil.
