WARM NUTTY BEEF SPREAD 
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. milk
1 pkg. (2 1/2 oz.) dried chipped beef
1/4 c. chopped green or red pepper
2 tbsp. onion flakes
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. melted salted butter
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix cream cheese and milk. Add chipped beef, green or red pepper, onion flakes, garlic salt and pepper. Fold in sour cream. Put mixture in 8 inch pie pan. Heat pecans and butter and spread on top of beef mixture. Bake 20 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. Serve warm with assorted crackers, melba toast or bagels. Yield 2 1/2 cups.
