HOT BEEF SPREAD 
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. dry white wine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1/2 c. commercial sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 1/2 oz. jar dried beef, finely chopped
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Melt butter in large skillet and add onion, saute until tender. Stir in wine, and simmer 2 minutes. Add next 4 ingredients, mixing well. Spoon mixture into an 8-inch square glass baking dish, sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with assorted crackers. Yield: 4 cups. You can also heat in microwave until hot.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
