BUTTERMILK PIE 
1 1/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. thick buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
9-inch pie shell

Combine sugar and flour. Beat eggs thoroughly and add to sugar and flour. Add butter, buttermilk and flavoring. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 35 minutes.

Do not open oven door until baking time is finished.
