APPLE SQUARES 
3 eggs
1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 apples, peeled, cut into chunks
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. corn syrup

Beat eggs, sugar, and oil until blended. Mix salt, flour, soda and cinnamon; add to oil mixture. Add pieces of apple and nuts, if desired. Mix all until smooth. Pour batter into 13 x 9 inch pan, greased. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown and puffed.

FOR GLAZE: Mix powdered sugar, butter, milk and corn syrup until smooth. Pour over cooled squares.
