RUM OR BOURBON BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) semi sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/3 c. Rum or Bourbon
2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
Confectioner's sugar

Melt chocolate over hot, not boiling water. Remove from water and stir in sugar and syrup. Blend in rum or bourbon. combine wafers and nuts. Add to chocolate mixture, mixing well. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in confectioner's sugar. Let ripen in tightly covered container at least several day. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
